Take a breath before the holiday season begins! Give yourself a joyful and energizing break with two exclusive Egyptian dance workshops led by the renowned dancer and choreographer Raed AbdElghany. This is your chance to step away from the stress and fill your body with rhythm, energy, and happiness.
Workshop 1 – Saidi with Assaya (Open level)
Experience one of the most iconic dances in Egyptian folklore. This style is among the most important in authentic Egyptian tradition and is also widely used in Oriental dance.

Workshop 2 – Baladi Shaabi (intermediate/advanced)
Baladi Shaabi is a beautiful blend of Cairo-style Egyptian dance. This style reflects the spirit of women dancing in the traditional galabeya – full of warmth, humor, lightness, and authentic Egyptian expression.

About Raed AbdElghany
Raed is an Egyptian dancer, teacher, and choreographer specializing in Oriental dance and Egyptian folklore.
He began his professional career with the National Egyptian Folkloric Troupe in 1995 (the official state troupe), where he became principal dancer and instructor. During his years with the troupe, he participated in numerous international festivals and performances across Egypt and abroad, touring much of the world.
In 2011, Raed moved to France and founded Troupe Ya Nawaem France, a private troupe dedicated to Oriental dance and Egyptian folklore. He worked as teacher and choreographer for the troupe, while also serving as Artistic Director of Almase Association, organizing and directing the Bab El Nogoum Festival from 2011 to 2019.
In 2016, he established Arabesque by Raed AbdElghany Artistic Production in Paris, specializing in international dance festivals and cultural events. Through this company, he organized the first and largest Oriental Dance Festival in Dubai, the Magical Arabesque Dubai Festival 2016, later founded Arabesque Dubai Dance Company, and organized the Live Arabesque Dubai Festival 2017.
Today, Raed teaches at two of the largest dance schools in Paris and is Artistic Director of Arabesque France & Italy Dance Companies. He has also collaborated with the Norwegian jazz quartet The Source since 2009, and this year you can see him again at Cosmopolite Scene during their Christmas concert The Source: of Christmas

The course fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including illness, quarantine, or similar situations. This applies both to fees that have already been paid and to any outstanding amounts. Once registered, you are responsible for the full course fee.
You may transfer or sell your spot to another participant (please notify us if someone else is taking your place).
If the event is cancelled by the organizer, the full course fee will be refunded.
The organizer does not cover additional costs such as travel, accommodation, or similar expenses.
